IJM CEO’s Book Chosen as Part of the Signature Collection Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of InterVarsity Press

Tuesday, October 26, 2021, WASHINGTON, D.C. — In celebration of the 75th anniversary of InterVarsity Press (IVP), IVP is releasing twenty-seven select iconic and bestselling books from throughout its history as part of their Signature Collection which will include Good News About Injustice written by IJM CEO Gary Haugen. This special release includes updated statistics and content as well as a brand new five-session companion Bible study.

Originally published in 1999, Haugen shares that the good news about injustice is that God is against it. God is in the business of using the unlikely to accomplish justice and mercy. In Good News About Injustice, Haugen offers stories of courageous Christians who have stood up for justice in the face of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, racial and religious persecution and torture.

“Reflecting back over the past two decades since writing Good News About Injustice, it has only become clearer that God desires justice in this fallen world even more than we do. And, the good news is that He gently invites us into the work of justice with Him, but it is His weight to bear,” said Haugen.

Good News About Injustice: A Witness of Courage in a Hurting World is now available for purchase as well as the Good News About Injustice Bible Study through IVP.
